In 2022 Platz introduced a series of prepainted snap kits of 1/32 scale cars, made by the chinese brand Mono.
The series include a white Toyota AE86 Trueno, a white RX-7 FC 'Infini IV' and a bright yellow RX-7 FD 'custom' with full RE Amemiya SuperG wide body kit, this combination makes you think 'Initial D', but it is not mentioned anywhere and there are no 'Initial D' decals included either.
Each of the kits is available in three different paint colors, each color has its own catalog number.
The models are kerbside (no engine bay details) but come with well and accurately detailed floorpan and cabin interior.
For some reason the cabin interior of each of the kits has its floor raised to waist level, almost as if the kits were intended to be fitted with an electric motor but no other traces of motorization can be found in the kits.
Not just the bodies are prepainted but also all details such as wheels, window trim and clear tinted tail lights and indicator lights.
Platz added a well detailed set of decals including dashboard instruments, emblems and license plates.

This kit accurately depicts a 1991 'Infini IV' model RX-7.|
It comes with aero style door mirrors and a separate rear spoiler.
A neat touch is that the head lights can be posed raised or lowered, the lights are fitted with clear lenses.
Wheels are large BBS style faces that are to be fitted to black wheel backs, which are pushed on to metal rods for axles.
The wheels for the white car are painted black and silver for the red and black cars.
Decals are for a late model GT-X, no Infini badges are included.

This kit depicts a late style FD fitted with a full RE Amemiya SuperG wide body kit, whisker spoilers, small aero door mirrors and a raised rear wing.
Wheel faces are early style factory 5-spoke alloys that are to be fitted to black wheel backs, which are pushed on to metal rods for axles.
Despite the box title, the shade of yellow paint used for the body parts is the 'Initial D' style solid bright yellow rather than the warmer 'Competition Yellow Mica' shade.
Wheels are painted gold for the yellow car, black for the silver car and silver for the blue car.
Decals offer a choice of Enfini and Mazda badges.
