There were plenty of model kits made of the Nissan Skyline GT-R, picking a favorite is a matter of personal taste.

The most popular color for the R32 GT-R was Gun Gray metallic KH2, a color that seems to emphasize its menacing looks.

The most iconic color for an R33 GT-R is the original Midnight Purple LP2, a color-shifting ChromaFlair (Maziora in Japan) paint made by Nippon Paint that shifts color between deep red-purple and dark green.
Later versions of Midnight Purple would each shift to a different color.

The most iconic color for the R34 GT-R must be Bayside Blue TV2. Bayside Blue is a more intense metallic version of Champion Blue BT2 which itself was based on the blue used by the Calsonic racing team.

The only interior color available was black, but the seats (front and rear) could now be ordered in either all-black, light gray or black-trimmed-with-red (on Black Edition only).
